Donna began her dance career in the greater Metropolitan Washington DC area. While she trained extensively in tap, ballet, jazz and acrobatic, Donna's passion has always been ballet. Her early ballet training was in the Vagonova method, but later in her career, she relocated to California where she trained with former artist of the San Francisco Ballet, Margret Lloyds Smallie, who coached Donna through the Cecchetti Method of Classical Ballet Teacher Examinations. Donna is a certified teacher member of the Cecchetti Council of America and has previously taught intermediate and advanced ballet classes in the San Joaquin Valley. She is currently an executive board member of the West Coast committee branch of the CCA. Donna has also recently became a member teacher of the non-profit organization Dance Masters of California Chapter #13 Inc. in affiliation with Dance Masters of America Inc. Donna continues to study and teach, using her years of experience and enthusiasm to inspire her students and colleagues.
