Alicia started dance when she was 3 years old. She grew up dancing at Art of Dance in Manteca and the Dance Shop of Manteca studying tap, jazz, ballet and lyrical on the competitive team. When she turned 11 years old she decided to focus strictly on ballet and moved to San Joaquin Ballet under the direction of Dorothy Percival. She has performed in ballet productions including Nutcracker, Petroushka, The Velveteen Rabbit, Snow White and Cinderella. She spent her summers at Contra Costa Ballet and another summer at the Joffrey Ballet of New York. She was accepted into the Bolshoi Ballet of Vail,Co, and was offered an apprenticeship at City Ballet of San Fransisco the summer before freshman year in high school. After high school she went to cosmetology school and became an esthetician and owned a salon in Ripon for 15 years. During that time she married her high school sweetheart and had 2 beautiful girls. (Who of course have both started dancing at 3 years old w HRDC!!)
