Tara Lou Morton

Tara’s last performance was with Off Balance Modern Dance Company at Modesto Junior College. She holds a BS from CSU Sacramento and MA from University of the Pacific. Tara currently teaches kindergarten at River Islands Technology Academy. Her past teaching positions included University of the Pacific, Juline • School of Dance, Art of Dance, Powerhouse Dance Academy, and Venture Academy (SJCOE). Tara teaches all levels of ballet, tap, and jazz. She has also taught modern, lyrical, and musical theatre. Tara has choreographed for all mentioned affiliations above, as well as Central West Ballet, and the Livermore Shakespeare festivals. Tara’s past service affiliations included being a member of the Board of the Juline Foundation for Children, Eastern Star, and Rainbow Girls. She currently serves as a member of Manteca Soroptimist. She holds certification in CPR, First Aid, CBEST, CSET, Rica, and California Multiple subject credential. Tara’s past credential was a Theatre Arts Credential.
